Local Coordinator (Allowance: VND 350,000 – VND 750,000 / month)

About Founded in 2011, School on the Boat (SOTB) supports 26 children in its program and ensures their growth through education. To fulfill our target, our organization helps children in many different ways: education, culture, and health. Moreover, organize the monitoring of their learning and help them acquire more useful knowledge through monthly activities. These cultural, sporting, educational, or recreational activities are a way for children to explore new places, new things, and new environments! We are looking for a LOCAL COORDINATOR who wants to make positive changes in the lives of disadvantaged children. Especially those who have ideas and want to build breakthrough projects and contribute to the community. The work includes:

• Implementation and development of the Personal Development Program plan.
• Coordinate, organize, and oversee joint work plans.
• Ensure the progress and work of the projects in the program.
• Manage and find potential partners
• Managing the Volunteer network in the project
• Support social workers when working with children, families, and schools

Request:

• Commit to at least 1 year
• Come to the office at least 8h/week
• Work professionally with seriousness and enthusiasm, taking part in the organization's activities
• Organizational, planning and responsible skills
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the organization.
• Desiring to contribute to the development of the community
• Experienced management and coordination is an advantage
• Being able to communicate well in English and having personal means is an advantage
• Experienced event organization is an advantage

Right:

• During the two months of probation, you will receive a subsidy of VND 350,000 / month, then you will receive the support of VND 750,000 / month.
• Become a part of an NGO and contribute to improving the lives of disadvantaged children
• Develop projects that contribute to the environment and life of children in difficult circumstances
• Working in a multicultural environment
• Improve foreign language ability
• Receive a certificate and cover letter after the commitment period and complete the work
