Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Policy & Political roles)
Main purpose of job:
A flexible role allowing the person to be a key part of a wide range of Embassy’s events and work and gain a wide range of experience including providing administrative, logistical and financial support for the Embassy’s Political, Prosperity and Chevening Scholarship Teams, liaising and arranging meetings with government and private sector contacts, assisting with interview logistics, interpreting and translating, assisting organising inward and outward visits and other events and providing other support required by the Embassy.
The successful candidate will be expected to embody the UK Civil Service code.
- Experience in using MS Word, Excel
- Experience in managing budgets
- Good time management and event management skills
- Experience in dealing with external suppliers
- Networking ability.
