HopeBox is a social enterprise in Vietnam to respond to the lack of comprehensive psycho-economic recovery services for GBV survivors in Vietnam post-rescue. We want to empower our sisters by giving them a safe place to live, to enable them to earn money and to receive training. 1. Position Description:
Marketing & Communication Officer
2. Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Project Manager & CEO
3. Key Working Relations:
- Internal: HopeBox staff and management team.
- External: Customers, media partners, corporate partners and NGO partners.
4. Key Responsibilities:
Events and campaign management: Develop a strategic communication plan for all of the campaigns and events. Oversees the operation of the events to ensure outcomes are achieved. Ensure reports are in place after the event is done and if required, a Learning Evaluation is created.

Marketing and Communications: Ensure marketing collateral is available, act as a contact point for marketing and communication requests. Host local media etc.
✔ Create marketing goals related to customer acquisition, lead generation and revenue
✔ Conduct market research on competitors to augment marketing efforts
✔ Specify a company's target audience based on market research
✔ Produce and edit content including social media posts, videos, e-books, infographics, presentation decks and webinars
✔ Cultivate relationships with the potential customers to build customer’s database and maintain relationships with existing customers
✔ Monitor social media traffic to measure the public's perception of the company's brand
✔ Test the quality of emails, social media posts and the company's landing page
✔ Analyze the results of campaigns and make changes to outlast competitors

Digital channel management: Write content both in English and Vietnamese for the use of digital channels including newsletters, websites, Facebook and Instagram. A high level of management of these channels and respond to customers’ inquiries is required. Taking orders and informing the operations team clear about the details of orders.

Engagements: Participate in workshops and events that can increase engagement with external stakeholders.

Reports: Maintain financial records internally and externally. Record timesheet for all staff on a monthly basis. Proficiency in providing evaluation reports for each project to analyze the outcomes of the project. Record all invoices and receipts, work with a tax agency to provide receipts for tax reporting purposes.

Internal liaison: As required, assist other team members when events are being organised.

Self: Work autonomously ensuring KPIs are met.

5. Key Skills and Knowledge:
● Report writing and analysis skills.
● Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently but also with an excellent teamwork spirit.

● Ability to provide a high level of communication and translation skills to individual and corporate sponsors during any visits to HopeBox.
● High level of time management and task prioritising skills.

6. Qualifications / Experience:
● A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing and Communications, Business or Commerce.
● Minimum One-year- experience in project management, or marketing and communication. (NGO or social enterprise experience preferred).
● Strong relationship management experience.
7. Well-developed technical skills in the following areas:
● IT Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Canva and design tools knowledge is highly desirable)
● Photographer skills
● Well-developed communication skills (written and oral) in both Vietnamese and English
● Analytical skills
● Writing skills
● Problem-solving skills
● Research skills
