Marketing & Communications Associate (Remote)

The Ida C. & Morris Falk Foundation (ICMFF) is seeking a local Marketing & Communications Associate with a knack for engaging with an audience to promote innovative circular solutions for waste pollution issues in Vietnam and its region.

The associate must be:

• Based and eligible to work in Vietnam
• Available for 40 hours per week from mid-May 2022

Detailed scope of work

1. Marketing and communications development 

• Implement community engagement projects targeted at youths (online & offline events, social media activation)
• Curate and create relevant visual and bilingual written content for ICM's communications strategy (interviews, social media posts, marketing materials, press releases, etc.)
• Assist in developing Vietnam-focused research-oriented blog posts with clear insights about the circular economy and upstream innovation
• Manage ICM's social media platforms, advertising and outreach campaigns (LinkedIn, Facebook, Youtube…)

2. Project management support

• Develop Circularity Ecosystem’s engagement projects with the Foundation’s team
• Deliver punctual market research analysis synthesis based on strategic objectives
• Attend weekly team calls and roll-out dedicated tasks upon deadlines

• Ad hoc marketing and communications tasks related to specific grants projects

Essential requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or other relevant fields
• At least 1 year of working experience in marketing, communications, or accounts management (including internships and part-time positions)
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English
• Based and eligible to work in Vietnam starting from May, 2022
• Good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, collaborative platforms (Asana), and graphic design (Adobe) and/or multimedia software
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability of writing editorial pieces in English
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently according to clear deadlines with attention to detail and synthesization capacities
• Ability to think strategically, handle ambiguity and work in a multicultural environment

Optional requirements:

• Ideally based in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi
• Proficiency in graphic design and/or multimedia software
• Experience working in a marketing and/or analyst position
• Experience working on projects or programs with environmental benefits
• Knowledge and/or experience in circular design and upstream innovation
