Main purpose of job

The job holder will be responsible for managing UK government - funded modern slavery projects in Vietnam, focusing on combatting human trafficking and enhancing the Vietnamese response to human trafficking.
The job holder will build senior-level relationships and work closely with government ministries, multilateral development agencies, delivery partners, research institutions, NGOs and other external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and provide policy advice on human trafficking.
The role will report to the Head of Home Office International Operations at the British Embassy in Hanoi and the Home Office Modern Slavery Fund programme team in the UK.

This position is being advertised as a full-time, fixed-term role of 15 months with possibility of renewal in Hanoi.

Employees who are not liable to pay local income tax on their Mission salary may have their salaries reduced by the equivalent local income tax amount.
