Position Overview

Gravity Water is a US-based 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization focusing on turning rain into safe water for schools in need. Gravity Water is hiring for a National Director, Vietnam to join Gravity Water’s Global Leadership Team as the primary individual responsible for leading the Organization’s program services, operations, team, and outcomes within Vietnam. The National Director of Vietnam reports directly to Gravity Water’s Executive Director. The candidate will be part of a supportive and professional team of passionate individuals dedicated to building water security and climate resilience for communities in need throughout the country.

The primary activities related to this position include (1) the direct leadership, management, and oversight of Gravity Water’s national program in Vietnam; (2) assisting the Executive Director and Director of Operations, Asia in the development of short- and long-term National KPIs; and (3) overseeing all strategic partnerships for the National Program.

Responsibilities

Essential job responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to:

Oversee Gravity Water’s Vietnam’s administrative, regional fundraising, and operational aspects of the National Program

Manage, strengthen, and expand Gravity Water’s strategic partnerships within Vietnam

Ensure achievement of all programmatic KPIs for the country

Develop all annual and quarterly strategic planning aspects for the national program

Ensure excellence in program governance and all aspects for legal, financial, and program compliance within the country

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Reside in, or willing to relocate to, Hanoi, Vietnam

Passion for building water security and climate resilience for communities in need

5+ years in INGO/NGO or Social Enterprise management

10+ Years of experience in a D-Level or leadership position

Fluency in English

Desired Qualifications:

WASH program management

Government relationships and strategic partnerships

Fundraising, grant management, national program development

Demonstrated experience in a C-level position for a national or international company/organization
