People and Culture Partner – Asian Region

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations queries for WWF International hosted staff in Singapore hub and all other locations in the Asia region;
  • Manages recruitments (advertising to selection) for the hub and as when requested of other positions in the region; Liaises closely with the relevant local P&C teams of the National or Country Offices, regarding hosting and negotiation of contractual arrangements;
  • Organise regular staff meetings and maintain staff engagement for this population in Asia;
  • Works with the WWF International C&B team and relevant C&B focal point to ensure equity and alignment of remuneration package;
  • Works closely with the Senior Specialist, Shared Services & payroll on the different insurances coverages and country specifications;
  • Supports hub staff in providing onboarding into the organization;
  • Ensures that WWF International policies and performance management processes, are understood and applied via the HRIS platform;
Required Qualifications
  • Commercial diploma or University Degree ideally in a relevant discipline: Human Resources Management, Business Administration;
  • At least 4-5 years relevant experience in a complex international environment, with experience of working for a global INGO ideal;
  • Previous experience working as a P&C/HR Generalist/Partner role, with strong knowledge of HR local regulation and payroll would be advantageous.

  • Analytical and numerate with an aptitude for technicalities and detail and the ability to take the initiative and resolve issues in a timely manner;
  • Diplomatic team player, able to deal with a variety of situations and confidential issues under pressure;
  • Cultural empathy and awareness, with a respect for diversity and ability to connect with staff from across the global Network.
