The WaterAid Accountability & Effectiveness team plays a key role in enabling WaterAid to meet our organisational accountabilities and strengthen our effectiveness. As our innovative and supportive PMER Officer you will coordinate our global Annual Reporting Processes and facilitate our global PMER Community of Practice. The role is both permanent and full-time and may require international travel of up to 4 weeks per year, once it is considered safe and responsible to do so. Job Description.
In this role, you will manage the effective implementation of the IPD Annual Cycle as as well as coordinate the PMER Community of Practice. This involves ensuring that CPs are engaged, consulted with, informed and trained in the latest developments in organisational PMER. You’ll also: • Produce the consolidated IPD Annual Update (Plan), Six-Month Report and Annual Report to inform global management decision making and global external reporting • Lead on PMER Community of Practice communications including organising and facilitating webinars, quarterly ‘deep-dive’ trainings, and the monthly PMER newsletter • Manage the PMER SharePoint site to ensure all guidance is readily available to Country Programmes and Regional Teams • Lead on the strengthening of specific aspects of PMER across the organisation. In 2020/21 the role will focus on strengthening WaterAid’s community feedback mechanisms. • Support the A&E team to develop effective capacity building initiatives and PMER guidance to strengthen PMER at WaterAid
Additional Information Person Specification 
To be successful, you’ll need: 
  • Proven experience of writing reports fluently in English based on analysing and presenting complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Proven experience of coordinating complex processes working with a range of stakeholders to ensuring timely completion of deliverables
  • Proven experience of building engagement with and the skills and capacities of others either face-to-face or remotely

Salary:
UK Salary: £33,000 with excellent benefits
Overseas Salary/Benefits: Competitive based on Country Programme Salary Ranges

WaterAid is will opening its UK office in 20 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, in September 2020. This will be a gradual re-opening, and until then the role will be home-based.  Therefore the London Office location and contract base, if you are successfully offered the role, will change.
