Duties
Incumbent of this position will be under the supervision of the Procurement Supervisor, s/he will be responsible for local and overseas procurement of supplies, equipment, and services needed by Embassy Hanoi and associated agencies. Using the Integrated Logistics Management (ILMS) Ariba software system, the incumbent will maintain accurate paper and electronic procurement files. S/he will execute a limited number of simplified contracts. The incumbent will be expected to provide expedient, friendly, and professional service to Embassy Hanoi clients and local and overseas vendors.Qualifications and Evaluations
- Requirements:
- EXPERIENCE: At least two years experience in purchasing is required. JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have a good knowledge of local business practices, including general business accounting and taxation system.

- College or university studies is required.

- LANGUAGE:
Good working knowledge in Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. (This will be tested.)
Fluent in Speaking/Reading/Writing Vietnamese is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Good word processing and internet searching skills.

- Able to read, understand and apply Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Department of State Acquisition Regulations (DOSAR) to all procurement actions.
