Green Innovation and Development Centre (GreenID) is a Vietnamese non-profit organization (NPO) recognized by Decision 840/QD-LHH dated 27th December 2011.GreenID works to promote sustainable development in Vietnam, and contributes to global sustainable development goals including SDG 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 17. GreenID recognizes that to promote sustainability it must simultaneously address constraints related to governance, social and technology integration. With our project-specific experience coupled with cutting edge global knowledge and theory, we have helped integrate sustainable solutions into policy and local communities.
Promoting Women leadership in climate resilience and renewable energy development in Mekong Delta, Vietnam program supported by Bred for the World to achieve its goal of Women proactively contribute to the promotion of a climate-resilient society in Mekong Delta. Two program sepecfic objectives are women leadership on renewable energy promotion for climate resilience is enhanced and livelihood opportunities for local community are improved thanks to Women entrepreneurship on renewable energy. The program will use market based and empowerment approach for program implementation.The program will be implemented in Ben Tre and Tra Vinh provinces in 3 years.
Purpose of the position: The position is responsible for overall implementation of program, including program planning, implementation, monitoring & reporting; working with relevant partners at provincial level down to community level, networking with multi stakeholders in program area for leverage of program resource.
Main responsibilities:
Programming:
- Faciliate program partners and relevant stakeholders to ensure the annual plannining aligned with program logical model and well captured of local context. Finalize the draft of program annual plan and submit the plan to PM.
- Develop TOR for program reasearches/assement, and coordinate with local partners & relevant stakeholders to ensure the result of program reasearches/assement meeting planed objecjectives/specific results.
- Faciliate program partners & relevant stakeholders in designing program model concepts & TOR for program specific activities.
- Facilitate program partners & relevant stakeholders the implementation of program activities to ensure the quality of activity as expected in the TOR.
- Coordinate and faciliate communication events, workshops at provicial, district and commune level.
- Ensure the true participation from local partners in program implementation.
- Conduct program monitoring as designed in program M&E plan, and facilitate program reflection of program imlplementation with program partners& relevant stakeholder for program continous improvement.
- Writing program reports as regulated by GreenID or Donor in English.
Patnership development:
- Implement approved partnership development plant
- Build sound relationship with program partners in order to ensure the hig level of their participation in program implementation.
- Build capacity for subgranting partners to ensure subgranting partners have suficient capacity for program implementation.
- Faciliate program partners in solving problem rised from program implementation.
- Participate in RE forum/events for networking and partnership development.
Finance and admine management:
- Monitor and control the program spending on monthly basic to ensure the appropriate spending rate.
- Ensure the completion of advance and liquidation for program expenditure as GreenID financial regulation.
- Cooperate with Program Manager to mobilize the resources from diferent sources for program implementation to leveage
- Facilitate the visits from Donors or relevant visitors, auditors to program sites.
- Ensure program document filed folowing of GreenID filling guideline.
Quality requirement:
Education:
- Bachelor degree in economy, environment, energy, business administration, social work.
Knowledge, skills and capability:
- Understanding of clean energy development strategy, evident based advocacy approach
- Basic understanding of solar rooftop, Agri solar, fossil power, and environment protection
- Knowledge and skill of facilitation, coordination, mobilization, networking, and capacity building for local partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed written and oral communications skills in Vietnamese.
- Have empowerment and entrepreneur development
- Good English skill.
- Solid computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email.
- Ability to think critically and reflect.
- Ability to learn
- Strong interested in clean energy development & environment protection
- Good capability in team work
- Ability to frequency travel
Experiences:
- At least 02-years of experience in development sector. Preferable to small and medium business development/energy/environment sector
