Program Support Intern

Start date: March 2025 Duration: 3 months (extendable) Open slot: 1 The Power and Energy Working Group (PEWG) was established in 2011 under the Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) as a platform to facilitate policy dialogues between the relevant Government authorities in Vietnam and the private sector, towards the sustainable development of the energy sector in Vietnam. In 2025, and particularly during your internship with us, VBF PEWG will be actively implementing a range of project activities. We are committed to producing in-depth Policy Research Reports focused on priority issues addressing key challenges identified by both the private and public sectors in the implementation of Vietnam Power Development Plan 8 launched at a National Forum. We also conduct a Capacity Building Needs Assessment (Survey and Report) on the Workforce for Vietnam’s Energy Transition under the framework of Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) and deliver targeted Capacity Building Programs for key stakeholder groups. Responsibilities:

Support the execution of various events such as workshops and forums (online/offline) by: Identifying and liaising with vendors; Distributing invitations and coordinating with co-organizers, speakers, and participants; Handling administrative and logistical tasks related to the events; Completing post-event tasks, such as evaluation reports and follow-ups.
Coordinate and arrange logistical arrangements for the project team’s travel related to project activities.
Assist in compiling and tracking project expenses using the internal system.
Support in proofreading, editing, formatting documents, and translating research reports between English and Vietnamese.
Undertake additional tasks related to policy advocacy, including gathering and consolidating feedback on regulatory documents, and providing regular updates in both English and Vietnamese.
Assist in updating the distribution list and expanding the stakeholder database.
Participate in project implementation from initial phases, including data collection and assisting in research reports involving stakeholders in the power and energy sector.
Additional tasks to enhance VBF PEWG's brand visibility and reputation across industry channels and stakeholder touchpoints.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing studies in fields such as economics, power and energy, public policy, or law.
Good writing, editing, and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (G-Docs, G-Sheet, G-Slides).
Be able to communicate in English effectively.
Familiarity with image/video processing is an advantage.
