NIRAS is implementing a B2B programme to support business partnership among Finnish and South East Asia companies. The position is based in Hanoi, Manila or Jakarta.
Only the experts meeting the set criteria will be shortlisted and contacted.
The position can be taken as part-time (13 days/month averagely).
Qualifications required
We are looking for a Programme Coordinator with below qualifications:
- University degree in social science or business administration or related field. Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in private sector development, business administration, finance, social development, communication, or project administration and management.
- Advance level of English is required. Fluent in local language in one of the target countries is required.
- Experience with project management is required.
- Experience with international organizations, or embassies, working relations with Vietnam, Indonesian or/and Philippines private sector or government agencies is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Finnish businesses, actors and working environment is an advantage.
Tasks
The Programme Coordinator will be reporting to the Programme Director:
- Coordinate the contract from NIRAS. Ensure the budget, invoice and quality of project delivery. Ensure the flow of work for the project staff and communication with the client and provision of consultants from NIRAS to required services by the client.
- Represent the programme in the South East Asia region and its different networks, particularly Team Finland. Ensure the visibility of the programme in the region, able to connect dots and find opportunities relevant for Finnish companies.
- Coordinate with SMEs, potential partners, and donors such as EU, EIB, UN and local government agencies to explore business opportunities relevant to companies under the programme;
- Communicate with companies and potential applicants and instruct them about the programme funding, and how they could send their applications. Support companies in project implementation and start up their projects, including liaison with local government, partners and other relevant stakeholders.
- Matchmaking activities for companies through events, contacting, and support business development for companies under the programme;
- Event organization online or in person, communication and marketing;
- Build and maintain database of contacts of companies and partners;
- Support the programme in EU Global Gateway campaign and take lead role in Asia Pacific areas in identifying the initiatives and engaging companies with Team Europe initiatives;
- The Project Coordinator will also be requested to perform other tasks in business development support in NIRAS.
Duration: One year with potential extension to the next project period.
