About the Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE)

Representing the Australian government’s international education portfolio in Vietnam since 1994, the Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) section at the Australian Embassy in Hanoi is responsible for strengthening government to government engagement with counterparts in education, training, and research to support education reform and policy development in Vietnam whilst showcasing the Australian education and training system and positioning Australia as a partner for education policy dialogue and advice. DESE also works with Australian and Vietnamese institutions to facilitate diversified institutional partnerships, including transnational education, research collaboration, and staff and student mobility.

About the Position

Under direction, the Project and Administration Officer assists the Education Counsellor and Deputy Director (Education and Research) in providing general administrative support and undertaking activities to strengthen the education relationship between Australia and Vietnam.
