The Opportunity

Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the Project and Change Manager - Oracle Recruitment CloudinLondon Centre Office or any existing SCI location

ROLE PURPOSE: 

Transformation Delivery is responsible for the delivery of projects across Save the Children with a focus on providing Project and Change resources with the oversight of a Portfolio Management team.

The Oracle Recruitment Cloud (ORC) project aims to implement a recruitment platform within Oracle HCM Cloud, creating a fully integrated end-to-end recruitment process. The ORC recruitment platform will replace Save the Children’s current recruitment system Taleo, which is currently used by all of Save the Children International’s Regional and Country Offices, and 5 Members. Moving from Taleo to ORC will simplify, streamline and personalise the process, improving the recruitment process for Recruiters, Hiring Managers and Candidates. The Project is currently in the “Start Up” phase, and must be completed by November 2023, due to the license for Taleo ending then.

The Project/Change Manager will coordinate multiple work streams of activity to ensure that the ORC project is planned, resourced and then driven to a successful conclusion. They are also the main point of contact for any questions on the status of the project. This person will be responsible for establishing project management practices utilising SCA’s Project Lifecycle, delivering some of the change management deliverables managing relationships with key stakeholders and driving continuous improvements. The Project/Change Manager may be required to lead one or more of the workstreams in addition to this overall coordination role.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Essential:

  • Extensive track record of successfully managing a programme or project in software development and implementation.
  • Proven experience of using and leading change management activities including change impact assessment, stakeholder management, managing resistance, building change capacity, designing and defining roles and responsibilities.
  • Proficient demonstrable skills in managing and reporting complex projects within a Portfolio Office/PMO structure
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time / on budget, using project management processes and tools including risk management, benefits management, financial management and quality assurance
  • Comprehensive management and influencing skills with experience of working with senior level executives
  • Ability to resolve issues swiftly and decisively whilst safeguarding standards and procedures
  • Strong team leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and mobilise individuals outside their reporting line
  • Excellent communication skills (written & oral English), including the ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organisation
  • Cultural awareness and experience of delivering solutions internationally

Desirable:

  • Non-profit sector knowledge/experience
  • Experience in a range of business process and implementation of systems within HR (Oracle HCM)

We can offer circa £55,000 per annum (If based in UK) with an option of flexible working hours. If the role is based outside of the UK, National T&C (including pay) will apply.

This role can be based in London or any existing Save the Children International office location on approval, provided the successful candidate has proof of eligibility to work from the preferred location.
