CNV is currently looking for an administrative and financial project assistant based in Hanoi to facilitate the implementation of the Social Dialogue (SD) project in Vietnam.

Main responsibilities the project assistant for the Social Dialogue project:
- Assisting the project manager in coordinating, monitoring, and guarding all project objectives and activities including social dialogue meetings and workshops and being pro-active in discussing the project progress and results with stakeholders;
- Preparing meetings and workshops (e.g., logistics);
- Drafting meeting minutes and financial reports (e.g., quarterly, annual, progress) and updates on the project activities;
- Providing project administration such as maintaining and updating filing system, making hotel reservation and air-ticket bookings, purchasing of office stationeries and equipment, etc.;
- Providing financial support such as preparing budget estimation for activities and contracts, checking invoices and vouchers, making payments including salary for staff, consultancy fee, compulsory social insurance, personal income tax, and other operational expenses; issuing certificates of PIT withholding upon requests following local laws;
- Provide interpretation for small internal meetings and translation upon request (interpretation for public meetings/workshops will be done by external consultants);
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the project manager;
- Travel if required to project sites within Vietnam;
Skills & requirements
The candidate should be based in Vietnam and possess the following skills:
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Highly motivated to work for the project;
- Knowledge of or affinity with labour issues;
- Excellent administrative and reporting skills, attention to details;
- Very good accounting knowledge and skills;
- Team worker;
- Social Dialogue knowledge will be an advantage;
