Job Title: Project Assistant to the Hold My Hand project
Grade: 4

Job Summary
With funding support from USAID and in collaboration with Institute of Population, Health and Development (PHAD), CRS has collaborated with PHAD to implement the project of “The sustainable and interdisciplinary rehabilitation services for Persons with severe Disabilities in Binh Dinh and Quang Nam Province (Hold My Hand-HMH) project. The objective of the project is to build a sustainable model in Binh Dinh and Quang Nam to support rehabilitation service provision to meet the multi-faceted needs of persons with severe disabilities, especially gender-specific needs and vulnerabilities.
Roles and Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication with all members of the disability project team, relevant staff in other departments/teams (operation and finance) and external stakeholders (Binh Dinh) as relevant. Send/receive and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail/letters/documents.
- Provide specialized project administrative transactions and processes including taking meeting minutes/notes, preparing logistics and administrative support for field trip and project activities at field
- Prepare transactional documents in support of project operations processes and support and facilitate coordination of transaction processing (e.g. payment requests, travel authorizations, travel advances, visas, etc.). and support in preparing financial procedures including preparing advance and liquidation of the project direct expenses.
- Support in following up with local care mentors for project data (including project activity pictures), report and support in preparing project quarterly reports under the assignment and facilitation of PM and PO.
- Support travel and logistics arrangements for staff and visitors. Schedule and coordinate appointments. Provide logistical and communication support to event planning activities.
Basic Qualifications B.A. in English language study or social work, or social studies or public health
- Two-year experience of working as project assistant of field-based officer in a development-based organization, with preference to experience in disability portfolio.
- Good in both spoken and written English
- Competent in WORD, Excel, PowerPoints, PDF and preferred skills of using ICT for virtual learning, including photo taking, using platforms for virtual training or learning.
Required Languages – Vietnamese proficiency and good level of English
Travel – The project assistant will be based in Binh Dinh with frequent travel to the project sites in Tuy Phuoc and Phu Cat or other assigned locations.

Key Working Relationships:
Internal: Disability program team, finance team, operation team, MEAL, CM and other colleagues
External: Binh Dinh Department of Health, Tuy Phuoc and Phu Cat health centers, PHAD and consultants (under the close supervision and facilitation of Disability Program Manager).
