JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Project Coordinator

Alliance Anti-Trafic (AAT) is a non-profit, non-partisan and non-religious organization that aims to protect women and children in Southeast Asia from sexual exploitation and trafficking. AAT opened two offices; one in Ho Chi Minh City, (Vietnam) and one in Bangkok, (Thailand) to manage projects in South East Asia.  AAT in Thailand focus its actions in trafficking prevention and empowerment, protection, assistance and return of victims and acting in Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. AAT in Vietnam focus its actions on community prevention and provide support for children and women at risk and for victims of sexual exploitation. Both offices are regional because they work anywhere in the region when necessary in order to provide protection to victims. Position information:

  • Position title: Project Coordinator
  • Reporting to: Director
  • Contract: At least two-year contract
  • Work station: Ho Chi Minh City

Duties:  

  • Develop project strategies and conduct administrative duties related to project implementation
  • Organize, maintain and monitor projects plans, schedules and activities
  • Ensure projects adhere to plans and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project; ensure information flow between projects and relevant parties
  • Build effective relationships with donors, partners, media agency, volunteers and beneficiaries to enhance AAT’s project communication
  • Maintain effectively communication system including social media
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Implement other tasks as assigned by Director

Selection criteria:

  • Vietnamese only
  • Bachelor degree in community development, social work or similar majors
  • Priority for recent university graduates
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
  • No experience working for NGOs required
  • Good computer skills on Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and e-mail applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed written and oral communications skills in Vietnamese and English, especially report writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to think critically and reflect
  • Have ability to design is a plus
