Education for Nature - Vietnam (ENV) is looking for a Project Coordinator based in Hanoi, Vietnam. The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all of ENV’s activities under specific projects and overall ENV programs/campaigns, providing technical support on ENV activities and campaigns, and providing English-language support as required.Main Responsibilities
- Project coordination, implementation, and management: Coordinate with ENV departments on the implementation of approved ENV activities in accordance with relevant project work plans, or as subsequently assigned by the ENV management board.
- Technical input: Work in close partnership with ENV’s various department leaders and provide technical input on ENV activities, outputs, and campaigns.
- Financial and budgetary management: Develop and manage project budgets and ensure the appropriate expenditure of project funds throughout the project periods.
- Donor coordination: Coordinate and liaise with partners and donors to implement project activities and represent ENV at meetings and workshops.
- Reporting: Produce internal reports, work plans, donor reports, and other written outputs based on the outcome of various ENV project activities.
- English language technical writing, proofreading, and editing: Write technical reports and documents, and proofread and edit all relevant English-language ENV outputs.
- Staff recruitment and training: Assist with the recruitment and training of relevant staff members.
- Other tasks as assigned by members of the MB.
Requirements
- 2-year commitment/availability
- Current Vietnamese residency/visa
- University degree (post-graduate and higher)
- Effective organization, management, and leadership skills
- Demonstrable experience in coordinating sizable projects
- Native English speaker with excellent English language proofreading and editing skills
- Excellent communications skills and an ability to communicate and work with others
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and pay close attention to detail
- Open mindedness and possession of strong potential to quickly learn new ideas and adapt to ENV’s non-traditional way of working
- Ability to multitask and hardworking attitude
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
