Job Title: Project Finance internship

Type of employment: Full time (06-month contract with a probability of extending)

Reports to: Partner Finance Coordinator

Working Location: Hanoi

Position Overview: Intern supporting project financial management

1. Responsibilities: Support the project financial management in following areas:

• Assist to review project financial documents submitted by partners to ensure the financial documents are correct and in line with Plan procedures; follow up with partners to complete all financial documents on time.
• Assist to collect and revise/ rearrange scanned financial documents submitted by partners by project budget line to upload to One Drive system.
• Assist to collect and scan all financial documents implemented by Plan Vietnam office to upload to One Drive system.
• Assist to translate financial/program documents from Vietnamese to English and vise versus.
• Assist to prepare financial reports, project accounting documents.
• Assist in project logistics, administration and reporting.
• Assist project procurement procedures.
• Assist in organizing meetings, trainings and events when required.
• Participate in field visits to PUs and partners if needed.
• Other supports to office as requested.

2. Length: 6 months with possible contract extension

3. Working time: Full time from Monday – Friday (40 hours/week).

Qualifications:

University graduate in Finance, Banking, Accounting or relevant qualification or 4th year University student in Economics or Finance.

Knowledge and skills:

• Good organization, communication and facilitation skills;
• Proficient in translating between English – Vietnamese – English;
• Ability to learn quickly and respond to multiple demand;
• Computer literate with strong computer skills in MS Office as Excel, PDF;
• Good understanding of financial and accounting policies, standards and associated regulatory issues;
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team;
• Good analytical skills and Ability to solve problem effectively;
• Good communication and team working skills;
• Willing to travel to the field;
• Motivated, patient, and responsible with assigned work.
