ABOUT THE JOB

AOP is seeking a part-time Project Finance Officer to support its global projects, working closely with the finance team, program staff, and in-country partners. This position is 2 – 3 days per week (flexible arrangements available).

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience in a similar role (minimum two years)
• CA/CPA desirable but not a must
• Excellent Excel skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Principal Accountabilities

• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records
• Ensuring project compliance with statutory, DFAT, and ACFID requirements
• Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on the financial performance of projects in Africa, Asia, and the Pacific
• Assisting the Program team with funds transfers and partner due diligence
• Improving financial processes both internally and with our partner organisations in various countries
• Conducting internal audits and strengthening internal controls for projects
• Assisting with ad-hoc analysis on an as-needs basis(
• Previous experience within the international development sector will be highly regarded
