Rehabilitation assistant
Center for Creative Initiatives in Health and Population (CCIHP) is a non-governmental organization working mainly in the field of public health and social science (for more information, please see at http://ccihp.org). CCIHP will implement the three-year project “Interdisciplinary rehabilitation services supporting children with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive” in Thua Thien Hue and Quang Nam provinces. The overall goal of project is to develop accessible, good quality and sustainable interdisciplinary rehabilitation services to support people living with disability (PWD), especially children (up to the age of 16) living with intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) to thrive and reach their full potential.
CCIHP is looking for qualified person to fill in the following position: Rehabilitation Assistant.
1. Qualifications
- University degree in rehabilitation (BA in rehabilitation), or Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, special education and related fields.
- At least 2 years of experiences, experience in early intervention and rehabilitation for children is desirable
- Good command of English, especially reading comprehension;
- Computer Skills Demonstrate the ability to work independently and cooperatively
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Willingness to travel to different project sites frequently.
2. Scope of work
- Assist in developing curriculum and tutoring videos on early intervention and rehabilitation for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD);
- Facilitate Skills Training Workshops for parents of children with IDD, often held on weekends;
- Carry out home visits and coach parents in doing early intervention for their children at home;
- Implement online-coaching, watch videos featured parents doing intervention for their children at home and give feedback in order to improve their skills;
- Carry out Pre-Post Test to track changes in parents’ intervention skills and child’s behaviors;
- Undertake routine administrative duties; event logistics management;
- Assist in the collection of relevant data and the maintenance of project database;
- Assist Project Officer and Accountant to complete financial documents in accordance with regulations;
- Update information and write content on website A365.vn;
- Respond to users’ questions and build content on Facebook page of A365.
