Terms of Reference for the development of communication products for the UNESCO Country Strategy for Viet Nam 2020-2021

Under the overall authority and direct supervision of the Head of Office, the service provider shall produce the following communication products in support of the dissemination of the UNESCO Country Strategy (UCS) for Viet Nam 2020-2021. A. List of products I. UCS booklet: to design the layout of a UCS booklet in English and Vietnamese based on a manuscript provided by UNESCO

Specifications:

Quantity: 1
Suggested size: A5 paper (210 x 148 mm)
- Number of pages: approximately 50 pages, including tables and graphics

II. UCS brochures: to design two UCS trifold brochures in English and Vietnamese that include essential information of the UCS

Specifications:
- Quantity: 2 (1 in English and 1 in Vietnamese)
- Suggested size: 210 x 99 mm when folded, 210 x 297 when opened

III. Roll-up banners: to design one roll-up banner that include essential information of the UCS

Specifications:
- Quantity: 1
- Suggested size: 200 x 80 cm

IV. Animated video: to produce an animated video to highlight essential information of the UCS

Specifications:
- Quantity: 1
- Suggested duration: 2-3 minutes
- Language: Vietnamese voice-over with English subtitles

B. Overall requirements

A consistent visual identity should be applied across all above-mentioned communication products.
Use of any copyrighted materials (e.g. images, graphics, music, footages, etc.) for the development of all above-mentioned communication products must be legally licensed. The service provider is required to avoid copyright infringement in any way possible.
The design and visuals of the products should effectively and suitably communicate UNESCO’s strategic messages to partners and audience groups as well as ensure inclusiveness, creativity and sensitivity.

C. Deliverables:

One (1) design file for UCS booklet
Two (2) design files for UCS brochures
One (2) design file for roll-up banner
One (1) complete animated video

D. Delivery Date: Deliverables 1 and 2 will be no later than 30 November 2019. Deliverables 3 and 4 will be no later than 20 December 2019. UNESCO is looking for a service provider to support the development of communication products for the UNESCO Country Strategy for Viet Nam 2020-2021. Quotations, together with company portfolios including sample designs and/or products, may be submitted to nl.nguyen@unesco.org(link sends e-mail) by 8 November 2019 COB.
