Monthly salary range: VND 28,364,925 – VND 31,364,508

The Australian Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City is seeking a self-motivated and well-organised Vietnamese national qualified candidate for an expected vacancy to fill the position of Research & Communications Officer/Interpreter.

This position will be offered to the successful candidate on a fixed term/non ongoing basis.

Under general direction from the Consul (Economic & Political), the Research & Communications Officer provides research to support the Australian Consulate-General’s priorities in Vietnam, and assists in the development and management of stakeholder networks. Working with an understanding of the Vietnamese cultural and economic environments, the role also provides interpretation for Consulate-General staff.

The successful applicant will be offered an initial contract for a 12-month period, and the Consulate will consider flexible work arrangements. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 28,364,925 to VND 31,364,508 depending on skills and experience.
