Operations Assistant Senior (ENV)

📍JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Supervisor: Chief Technical Advisor (CTA) and Wildlife Crime Unit Supervisor (WCUS).
• We are looking for an Operations Assistant, a data-focused team member who enjoys working with numbers and systematic assignments. This person will oversee and manage the ENV Database on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that all information on the database is well-maintained and kept up to date. She/He will also provide overall technical support to the organization for all of ENV’s activities under specific projects and overall ENV programs/campaigns.

📍RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support to the CTA and WCUS through carrying out a range of duties including both technical support responsibilities to ENV as well as oversight and management of various project activities such as:
• Produce and analyze enforcement data from ENV’s Wildlife Crime Database.
• Provide support to the CTA and WCUS in completing tasks and activities involving enforcement operations at ENV.
• Assist with management and use of the CAT ENV Task Management System to ensure that ENV activities being tracked on the system progress on schedule.
• Oversee administrative systems at ENV to ensure that these systems operate as designed and are maintained and updated by key departments responsible for use of these systems.
• Provide administrative support, as well as complete other tasks and assignments as needed.

📍JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
•  Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Experience with data processing, data analysis (preferred).
• Experience with administration, operations assistant (preferred).
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Outstanding critical thinking skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure.
