- Salary: USD $13,827 /Per Year
- Allowance and Benefits: Tet Bonus, annual salary increase, local social insurance scheme, supplemental health insurance, other allowances, and benefits.
- Work Schedule: Full-time - 40 hours per week. Definite subject to successful completion of probationary period. This is a 3-year fixed term position with a possible extension upon funding availability.
- Duty Location(s): 1 in Hanoi, VM
BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Under the supervision of the Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) Site Security Manager (SSM), incumbent of this position will serve as the Foreign Service National Investigator (FSNI)/Security Investigator for all security related activities associated with the construction of the Hanoi New Embassy Compound (NEC). The incumbent will work independently and provide security and secretarial services in support of the project including background investigations, screening calls, file maintenance, etc. The incumbent will maintain liaison with local police, OBO contractors, Local Guard Force (LGF), security organizations and other security authorities.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: At least two years of university studies is required.Experience: At least two years of security related experience of progressively responsible experience in investigative work with police or private security organization.Languages:
- Good working knowledge in Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. (This will be tested.)
- Fluent in Speaking/Reading/Writing Vietnamese is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Must be/must have:
- Good working knowledge of procedures and policies to conduct background investigation and determine suitability for employment and access to organization's facilities.
- Good knowledge of host country legal system and institutions, criminal law, and U.S. Government security standards and regulation procedures.
- Good working knowledge of documentary sources of information, ability to maintain extensive contacts with officials of various local agencies, ability to exercise initiative and use research skills in obtaining information or evidence.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have:
- Good computer skills in Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel.
- Ability to draft concise reports and letters of inquiry in English.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain contacts with officials of various agencies.
- Ability to conduct thorough interviews and evaluate honesty of candidate or employee.
- Hold a valid B2 driver's license.
