Position Title: Senior Guard - Open to: Employees of Mission- All/or US EFMs or MOHs

Duties
Under the oversight of the Guard Force Commander and direct supervision of a Shift Commander, incumbent of this position will provide direct line supervision of 20 to 30 guards per shift, depending on the schedule. The incumbent is responsible for protecting the lives of USG personnel and property by ensuring all posts are manned. Through the effective use of random/unannounced post inspections, the incumbent must ensure that the guards are , properly uniformed and equipped and have a thorough understanding of the general and post orders. S/he will mentor the guards under her/his supervision, identifying strengths and weaknesses, provides remedial OJT, and recommends individual guards for awards or disciplinary action as appropriate to the Shift Commander and Guard Force Commander. The incumbent will assist Shift Commander with the day-to-day management by documenting performance, security discrepancies, and verifying time & attendance. S/he will work on an 8-hour shift schedule based on day, evening, and morning shifts. The incumbent will operate an automobile or motorcycle while conducting guard post inspections or in responding to emergency situations.
