About Teach for Vietnam (TFV)

Teach For Vietnam (TFV) is a young and dynamic organization with the vision that by 2050, all children in Vietnam will attain an excellent education. We aim to achieve our vision through running a two-year leadership program that recruits and develops young leaders from diverse backgrounds (called “fellows”) who will work in and help build a sustainable ecosystem supporting education equality and excellence. During the two years, fellows teach in high need schools and work with underprivileged students and communities. They will be equipped with deep local understanding, skills, and expertise to make a positive impact on students, local teachers, parents, and community at the grassroots level. They will also develop transferable skills and gain unique experiences that will set them up to be a part of our growing network of Alumni who are working together to transform education for all children after they complete the two-year leadership program. Teach For Vietnam is in its fourth year of operation and currently has 26 Fellows in the Quang Nam province in the central region of Vietnam. We aim to have 60 fellows and expand into 2 regions in the 2021 academic year.

Job Summary

Location: 50% remote, 50% in Quang Nam and additional provinces

Reports to: CEO (RSM Manager, Senior Development Officer)

Job description

Vision and Strategy (10%):

  • Support the CEO (and team members) to develop a marketing and branding strategy.
  • Ensure marketing and branding strategy is in alignment with Teach For Vietnam’s organizational goals.
  • Track progress against strategy and report to relevant stakeholders (CEO, RSM Manager, Senior Development Officer, Alumni Manager, etc.) on a regular basis.

 Create and Monitor Marketing Campaigns (50%):

  • Design and oversee all aspects of our marketing including our digital marketing, email campaigns, and marketing efforts through traditional platforms such as newspapers, forums , etc.
  • Collaborate with RSM and Development team to optimize engagement with targeted audiences (includes but not limited to Recruitment campaign, Crowdfunding campaign, corporate partnership).
  • Monitor campaign budgets; Forecast marketing campaign growth and ROI for marketing campaigns.
  • Plan and manage our social media platforms; Develop engaging online content including forums, videos, graphics, and blogs; monitor and analyse content success.
  • Collaborate with newspapers, television broadcasters and other media platforms to communicate about our impacts
  • Prepare accurate reports on our marketing campaign’s overall performance.
  • Seek help from advertising and media experts to improve marketing results.
  • Evaluate important metrics that affect our website traffic, service quotas, and target audience.
  • Develop and implement Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing and Pay Per Click strategies along with the department managers.
  • Ensure that the brand message is consistent across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with fellows, alumni, and staff; Manage interns and volunteers to create content strategy.

Website Management (20%):

  • Work with web-designer to create quality content for TFV website aimed at donors, partners, and prospective applicants; Work with recruitment, development and government relations team to identify requirements and create content.
  • Work with web-designer to create requisite analytics to support organizational goals
  • Evaluate important metrics that affect our website traffic, service quotas, and target audience.

Reports and Newsletters (20%):

  • Create frequent donor newsletters and reports in partnership with the Development team.
  • Create annual reports in partnership with other team members.
