Position Description

We are looking for an Operations Assistant, a data-focused team member who enjoys working with numbers and systematic assignments. This person will oversee and manage the ENV Database on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that all information on the database is well-maintained and kept up to date. She/He will also provide overall technical support to the organization for all of ENV’s activities under specific projects and overall ENV programs/campaigns.

Responsibilities

Provide support to the CTA and WCUS through carrying out a range of duties including both technical support responsibilities to ENV as well as oversight and management of various project activities such as:

Produce and analyze enforcement data from ENV’s Wildlife Crime Database
Provide support to the CTA and WCUS in completing tasks and activities involving enforcement operations at ENV
Assist with management and use of the CAT ENV Task Management System to ensure that ENV activities being tracked on the system progress on schedule
Oversee administrative systems at ENV to ensure that these systems operate as designed and are maintained and updated by key departments responsible for use of these systems
Provide administrative support, as well as complete other tasks and assignments as needed.

Job requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
Fluent in spoken and written English
Experience with data processing, data analysis (preferred)
Experience with administration, operations assistant (preferred)
Outstanding organizational skills
Outstanding critical thinking skills
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure
