Senior Policy Analyst and Program Manager (Energy & Resilience) Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
The Embassy of Australia in Hanoi is looking for a talented and energetic individual to fulfil the position of Senior Policy Analyst and Program Manager - Energy & Resilience (LE6).
Working for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Senior Policy Analyst and Program Manager (Energy & Resilience) works under direction from the First Secretary (Economic and Development Section), with the responsibility of managing the Embassy’s strategic policy engagement on a range of economic, trade and development policy issues, with a particular focus on energy, food security and climate resilience.
Applicants should have knowledge and experience working on economic, trade and investment issues in Vietnam including on energy, climate change and resilience, experience in aid program management with a bilateral or multilateral donor in Vietnam, and strong interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with senior government representatives and agencies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English languages are essential, and experience conducting high-level interpreting from Vietnamese to English would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will be offered an initial contract for a 12-month period with an option to renew the contract for another 12 months or for an ongoing/indefinite period. The Embassy will consider flexible work arrangements. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 50,518,572 to VND 55,860,899, depending on skills and experience.
