📌JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Embassy of Australia in Hanoi is looking for a talented and energetic individual to fulfill the position of Strategic Communications and Events Manager (LE6). A merit list from this recruitment exercise may be used to fill similar positions over the next 18 months from the date of advertisement.
- Working for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade under the Political and Strategic Communications Section, the successful candidate will be part of the Embassy team that leads Australia’s strategic communications and public diplomacy efforts in Vietnam. The team works closely with the Australian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City to develop and implement communications strategies to maximize Australia’s visibility and influence in Vietnam.
- Applicants should have demonstrated awareness of and interest in Australia's policies, programs, and priorities in the region with relevant qualifications in policy, media, journalism, communications, or marketing. Strong knowledge of the Vietnamese media landscape, including the requirements of news agencies and the government with demonstrated experience in managing high-level, high-profile public-facing events in Vietnam.
- The successful applicant will be offered an initial One (1) Year non-ongoing employment contract with an option to renew for another (1) year or Ongoing/Permanent Employment. The Embassy will consider flexible work arrangements. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 55,736,420 to VND 62,731,831, depending on skills and experience.
