Evidence-Based Impact
Thrive Networks operates on the ground in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam in the interest of underserved populations. For nearly thirty years, we have leveraged public and private resources to engage with evidence-based programs proven to work at the local level to organically and permanently elevate communities out of poverty. To date, Thrive Networks has had a positive impact on over one million people in Southeast Asia.

Thrive Networks’ mission is to improve the health and well-being of underserved communities in Southeast Asia by working in concert with public and private sectors to develop evidence-based programs in the areas of water, sanitation & hygiene (WASH); and education.
Thrive Networks, known locally as the East Meets West Foundation (EMW), enables full access to basic human services for underserved populations in Southeast Asia and beyond. We design, test, and implement innovative financing and service delivery models to bring reliable sanitation, water, and education to underserved communities.

Sustainability by Design
Thrive Networks designs innovative financing and service delivery models to bring clean water, sanitation & hygiene, and education to underserved communities. We test these models and carefully measure their performance. When evidence shows that a test is cost-effective and valued by participants, we scale the model and disseminate the lessons learned to key government, private sector and civil society partners to sustainably advance local capacity.
Our evidence-based approach, the exceptional skill level of our in-country staff, and our commitment to transferring skills through long-term engagement have helped us become a trusted partner in Vietnam, PDR Lao and Cambodia. In 2018, we received the
Vietnam Government’s prestigious Friendship Order service award in recognition for helping enhance its citizens’ quality of life.
