We are looking for committed, result-driven candidate for the position of Tra Su Nature based Solution (NbS) Senior Project Officer, Freshwater Practice, based in Can Tho.

Major Function:

The Senior Project Officer (SPO) will be mainly focused on leading technical aspects in wetland restoration, forest plantation and nurturing, planning, implementing, and reporting of project’ activities to ensure compliance with the Project Documents and WWF’s contractual obligations and ensure close collaboration between the project and program’s management as well as support on partnership building and proposal development under Freshwater, Food Practices, and relevant Practices.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree on forest, wetland ecology, environment, forestry, natural resource management, environmental economics, or in relevant fields.
  • At least 5 years of practical experience as Project Officer or Senior Programme Officer.
  • Experience in conducting studies and coordinating research activities.
  • Experience of working with CSOs, local Government officials, and local communities.
  • Identifies and aligns with the core values of the WWF organization: Courage, Collaboration, Respect & Integrity.
