Position: Travel Assistant (GSO)
Open period: April 24 – May 14, 2023
Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week.
Starting basic salary: US $13,827/year

BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

The incumbent reports directly to the Travel Supervisor. Responsibilities include processing visas for official travel, permanent change station (PCS) travel support, assisting with requests for hotel reservations, requests for purchases on ARIBA spend management system, motor pool requests, supporting VIP visits, and other duties as assigned. The incumbent will develop relationships with hotels for special services, including, but not limited to, room requests, late check-outs or early check-ins, meeting spaces for high-level visits, or receptions.

This is a customer service position; the incumbent is expected to provide expedient, friendly, and professional service to Embassy Hanoi clients and Washington D.C. counterparts.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: College or University studies required.
Experience: At least two years of progressively responsible experience in human resources is required.
Languages:

Good working knowledge in Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. (This will be tested.)
Fluent in Speaking/Reading/Writing Vietnamese is required.
