Veterinarian (m/f/d)

Fulltime / 40 hours a week / BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh, close to Cuc Phuong National Park, Vietnam

Your contribution will be

· Performing veterinary activities according to protocol and ensuring the smooth daily operations of the on-site veterinary clinic

· Leading health exams and surgical procedures of bears under anesthesia

· Developing diagnostic treatments and prevention plans to facilitate health management

· Organizing and leading veterinary aspects of bear rescues

· Compiling reports and maintaining medical records and providing regular feedback

· Conducting literature research in wildlife medicine, especially of Asiatic Black Bears and other species in Vietnam

Your profile ideally illustrates

· Qualified veterinarian

· A minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience

· Experience with wildlife species is preferable

· Highly motivated, diligent and with exceptional attention to detail

· High level of responsibility and personal drive

· Flexibility to travel and work on weekends and public holidays on occasion and at short notice

· Dedication and passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS values and issues
