II. POSITION MANDATE

Resonance is seeking candidates to serve as Mid-level Inclusive Agriculture Coordinator for Investing in Women to Strengthen Supply Chains: A Global Development Alliance (GDA) between PepsiCo and USAID. The GDA will run until June 2025 and will focus on strengthening the business case for inclusive agriculture in four target countries: Colombia, India, Pakistan, and Vietnam. The GDA will support interventions that empower and create opportunities for women on and off-farm within PepsiCo agricultural supply chains. It will leverage PepsiCo’s demonstration farms, which are sites where PepsiCo agronomists showcase and train farmers on good agricultural practices and technology to improve production.

By featuring interventions that consider the unique needs, priorities, skills, and knowledge of women farmers, laborers, and entrepreneurs, PepsiCo will be able to strengthen women’s agricultural capacity, demonstrate the importance of women’s roles within their potato supply chains, and leverage women’s contributions to achieve core business and sustainability goals.

Additionally, the partnership co-invests with women farmer groups, women-led businesses, and other supply chain actors whose approaches overcome barriers to women’s economic empowerment, such as: addressing unpaid care work burdens, reducing women’s time poverty, increasing access to technical skills and technologies, improving access to - and control over - land and natural resources and challenging harmful gender norms.

The position will be based in Lam Dong, Vietnam and will report to the Country Manager - Vietnam. The Inclusive Agriculture Coordinator will provide critical technical expertise and support the partnership team’s implementation of country-level activities. With support from the GDA Global Gender Advisor, the Coordinator will provide technical assistance to farmers in gender norms and agricultural production with an emphasis on supporting gender-inclusive demonstration farm technology and practice transfer.
