The Home Affairs Section within the Embassy of Australia in Hanoi is seeking suitably qualified applicants for the above non-ongoing Locally Engaged Staff positions at Level 2 and Level 3 to fill vacancies that will arise over the next 12 months.

The Home Affairs Section is a dynamic and challenging environment with a high volume caseload. The successful applicants will be expected to work effectively in teams, and depending on their role may undertake administrative support activities, undertake visa assessments or conduct case investigations. Sound judgement, highly developed organisational skills, good client service skills, fluency in written and verbal English and Vietnamese language skills, and ethical work practices are essential.

Successful applicants will be placed on an order of merit and may be offered a position anytime during the validity of the order of merit (12 months from the date of advertisement).

The successful applicants will be offered an initial contract for either 1 year or 2 years contract period, and the Embassy will consider flexible work arrangements. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges are VND21,716,850 to VND24,868,275 for LE2 positions and VND26,001,392 to VND29,617,308 for LE3 positions depending on skills and experience.
