RECRUITMENT FOR SPONSORSHIP SERVICE OFFICER

Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects. Currently Good Neighbors has works in 37 countries, supporting approximately 17 million people, including about 10 million children.

Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 4 provinces: Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa. GNI in Vietnam sponsors about 10,000 children and implements community development projects (CDP) in education, water & sanitation, income generation sectors in 7 different areas of Vietnam.

Job title: Sponsorship Service Officer (SS Officer)

Reports to: SS Team Leader, General Manager.

Type of contract: Full time

1. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: Country Director, General Manager, Division Managers/ Team Leader/ Officers, Project Managers/ Officers

External: GNI’s Partners, Governmental Officials, INGOs, Communities

2. MAIN DUTIES

To be responsible for all child data & services, including case management of in charge CDPs both in quality and deadlines;
To cooperate with CDP staffs to develop the strategy and annual plan for data and services in charged of CDPs;
To ensure the smooth communication between CDP, HO and IHQ regards to sponsorship issues;
To ensure that related staffs at CDPs are well equipped with skills to manage the activities via regular trainings, monitoring, meetings, coaches, etc.;
To be responsible to partnership network enhancement for improving quality of activities;
To develop the PR documents/guidelines/tools for better activity management;
To provide regular and irregular reports to team leader and management level;
To work willingly for any particular assignment given by management level.

3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education:

University degree Social works, Education and other related fields

Work experience

Minimum 01 years of related working fields;
Community development project working experience is preferable;

Skills

Ability to work independently and work with the team
Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills
Good English language skills in writing & speaking
Good skill in computer use

Attitude

Sociable and responsive
Committed working with GNI at least 2 years
Truthful and accountable.
