Assistant

The Danish Embassy in VietNam is looking for an Assistant to our new regional advisor for responsible and sustainable value chains with details requirements in the attached JD

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Assistance to the advisor in relevant issues in the markets in South East Asia: assisting in building and maintaining an efficient contact network of local stakeholders, including authorities, business organizations and companies; contributing to gathering experiences regarding the implementation of the sustainability obligations in the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement; assisting in providing sustainability advice for Danish companies in the region; assisting Danish companies in sourcing sustainably; assisting in sustainability validation of Vietnamese companies on behalf of Danish partners.
Simultaneous translation at meetings and translation of letters, documents etc. between English and Vietnamese;
Administrative assistance to the advisor in his/her daily job as well as events/seminars, meetings, business trips etc.
Other ad-hoc tasks if required.
