Duties

Under the direct supervision of the Housing Supervisor, the position serves as the Housing Assistant within the General Services Office (GSO).  The position is responsible for the make-ready program, coordinating with Financial Management Center (FMC) to process the payments for all Post’s short term leases and utility bills for these properties. The position is also responsible for updating the lease tracking system, Real Property Application (RPA), the post housing handbook, and GSO housing regulations. Through verbal interaction and/or written correspondence, the position will interact with outside vendors, landlords, Government offices, the Regional Security Office (RSO), and other parties per GSO request.
 

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:  Two years of experience in property management or real estate. JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must quickly gain knowledge of department's rental and property regulations. A good knowledge of local laws pertaining to rental and purchase of property and good sense of local real estate market. Must have a very good knowledge of the Ho Chi Minh City real estate market, services, local district laws where the USG STL residences are located to include crime, noise, pollution, community neighbors, construction and city building plans, location to  schools, hospitals, restaurants.
Education Requirements:
EDUCATION: College or university studies is required.
Evaluations:
This may be tested. LANGUAGE:  Good Working Knowledge Level Speaking/Reading/Writing of English is required. Fluency Level Speaking/Reading/Writing of Vietnamese is required. Please clarify level of your English and Vietnamese language skill on your application. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Good public relations, written and oral communication skills.  Ability to research, collect and analyze information to recommend potential new housing.  Good at numerical skills.
