Income Generation Officer

Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects working in 42 countries. Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 4 provinces: Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa. We focus on education, water & sanitation, income generation sectors in 6 different areas of Vietnam. Job title: Income Generation Officer Effective date: July, 2020 Location: Head Office, Hanoi Type of contract: Full time Reports to: Income Generation Manager, Country Director 1. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: Country Director, Managers/Officers, Project Managers, Project Officers
External: GNI’s Donors, Partners, Governmental, Officials, INGOs, Communities.

2. MAIN DUTIES

Assess demands of community in economic development field;
Design income generation programs to increas income for people based on development policies of GNI;
Collaborate with stakeholders in preparing the proposal, conducting logic-frame for community development projects based on sponsored or non-sponsored;
Prepare proposal and operate special projects for income generation, carry out fundraising activities for income generation project;
Coordinate with the project sites and research partners for value chain analysis, marketing for products of income generation projects;
Support Division Manager to control income generation budget and revolving fund of whole field country;
Supporting and Checking Plan Of Action (POA) preparation for income generation development program, and ensure that the planning matched with development policy of GNI;
Provide technical supports and push income generation operations in all project sites;
Develop and issue guidelines, standard and procedures implementing activities related to income generation;
Make sure project sites to obey the standards, guidelines and regulations related to income generation and project management;
Collaborate with Strategy and Plan Division in project monitoring, evaluation when required;
Develop and maintain relationships with specialists in income generation field, specialized organizations and local authorities to promote the project activities;
Other tasks assigned by line Manager.

3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Education and Requirement:

University degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Development, Social Development and other related fields.
Vietnamese only

Work experience

Minimum 01 year of similar role;
Able to work under pressure and solve the arising problem;

Skills

Ability to work independently and work with the team;
Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills;
Good English language skills in writing & speaking;
Good skill in computer use

Attitude

Sociable, responsive, committed working with GNI at least 2 years
Accountable and transparent.
