HIRING THE PDEP PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT

PDEP in Vietnam has been carried out over 2 years. 95% parents of parents and caregivers as well as educators has provided positive feedbacks about the program and spread their words to many more. In order to promote and accelerate the impact of the program to wider public, SC plans to hire an individual consultant who provide supports to PDEP program delivery.
1. Objective
To hire a qualified individual consultant based in Hanoi (with occasional travel to project sites) to support with PDEP program implementation in both online and in-person format and PDEP’s related activities.

2. Consultant’s responsibilities:
- Closely work with AVAC project’s team and CRG Technical Coordinator for PDEP program delivery.
- Support the project team in reviewing and revising the translated documents for PDEP online course
- Coordinate PDEP program’s activities, including responding to emails, facebook page, website, events, etc.
- Provide Parent Program to SC staff in assigned project site
- Facilitate and frequent communicate with PDEP facilitators and Country trainers to ensure smoothly operation of the program
- Closely work with CRG team to develop a report (if requested) following SC format by the end of the program
- Other tasks as assigned related to PDEP program
3. Experience and skill set required
Essential:
- 8 years of experience working with parents/caregivers at different levels
- Good understanding of child rights and child protection
- Strong mind-set for Non-violence against children at all settings
- Strong facilitation skills and communication skills with different type of groups.
- Experience in leading/coordinating/facilitating role to advocate for a positive change
- Experience in writing reports and data processing
Preferable:
- Familiar with PDEP program
- Good understanding of INGO projects/word, especially child-focused projects,
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
