Pharma Group Director


JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to: PG Board Directly supervise: PG Secretariat Job Summary: The Director is responsible for leading the organization and directing the work of the team to achieve the organization’s objectives. Reporting directly to the Board, providing strategic input and managing daily activities (including various Working Groups). This includes the formulation of advocacy strategies and internal administrative issues and ensuring appropriate implementation in coordination with both internal and external stakeholders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Type of Contract: 1 year fixed term contract upon successful completion of a 2 month probation period Key Working Relationships:  Internal: Pharma Group Board and General Assembly, EuroCham Management.  External: Vietnam authorities, Embassies, regional and global associations Main Duties:  Develop policy positions on prioritized topics, both oriented for the long- and short term  Spearheading advocacy engagements with Government, through coordination with local, regional and global industry colleagues  Representing the Pharma Group (PG) in meetings, events and other fora, including external communications  Streamlining and optimizing the organizational and operational structure, including communications  Managing the PG Secretariat staff members  Oversight of all Working Groups, projects Experience:  Experience in policy / advocacy work, preferably in pharmaceutical industry, public health  Experience in industry advocacy organizations/associations/ platforms, preferably related to pharmaceutical industry  Experience in leading a (small) team / people management  Preferably an academic background in public health policy  Preferably a business background, e.g. MBA Language: Good command of English (critical) and Vietnamese is a strong plus What We Offer:  Strong network development in business community, in particular with high level stakeholders in the healthcare sector  Competitive compensation package  Opportunity to work in a diverse and multicultural work environment HOW TO APPLY: If you are interested in this job opportunity, please send your CV with a cover letter and your references(if any)  to careers@eurochamvn.org by 17:00 ‐ 18th Sep 2020.
