Admin Assistant Attaché Coordination – LE3
The Department of Defence within the Embassy of Australia in Hanoi serves the Australian Government of the day and is accountable to the Commonwealth Parliament which represents the Australian people to efficiently and effectively carry out the Government’s defence policy. Defence is seeking a highly motivated and experienced person to fulfil the position of Admin Assistant Attaché Coordination (LE3).
The Admin Assistant Attaché Coordination position provides administrative assistance to the Assistant Defence Attaché and the Manager Attaché Coordination. The position undertakes administrative and financial duties and represents Defence to internal and external stakeholders.
Applicants should have demonstrated experience in office administration, financial management, or stakeholder management, highly developed organisational skills, high level written and verbal English and Vietnamese language skills, strong computer skills, and working knowledge of the Defence relations, the Australian Defence Organisation and the Vietnam People’s Army.
The successful applicant will be offered an initial contract for a 12-month period, and the Embassy will consider flexible work arrangements. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges are VND26,001,392 to VND29,617,308 for LE3 positions depending on skills and experience.
